Our Weonit Woods Development was established in 1995 and receives funding through Rural Development, USDA. Weonit Woods has 23 one-bedroom units and one-two bedroom unit.
• Applicant must be 62 years of age or handicapped/disabled.
• Income must not exceed $36,400 for one person; $41,600.00 for two people.
• No asset limit. (but income from assets cannot exceed income limits).
• Verification is needed from realtor on value of assets (house, mobile home, etc.)
• Must show documentation to verify all information on application.
• Form DD-124 is required for Veteran’s Preference.
• An eligible applicant will be selected from a waiting list(s) identifying tbe category on basis of the applicant’s unit size needed, income level (very low, low, moderate income, or ineligible). The eligible applicant will further be selected on a first come, first served basis.
